Let the end of semester celebrations begin! Well almost - I do still have one exam, but for now, I'd just like to revel in the fact that the first semester classes are already over.
And you know what that means...time to take advantage of the city! And I can finally update my blog with event posts - hooray for free time!
To get the ball rolling, last night I attended an event put on by the Ad Women of Toronto called Women in Leadership. It focused on women who have become successful in the world of marketing, advertising, and media. The event was held at the cool Gladstone Hotel (my first time there!) and it was such a great venue.
The panelists included:
Maria Hale - VP, Television, and Head of Programming and Production, Corus
Lisa Tant - Editor-in-Chief, Flare magazine
Beverley Wybrow - President and CEO, Canadian Women's Foundation
Sharon McLeod - VP Marketing, Unilever Canada
Stephanie Nerlich - President, Grey Canada
