A Blast From The Past With A Wearable Future
New York-based eyewear company Warby Parker is bringing back the highlights of a memorable time in America’s history books through a collection fit for today’s era. 1922, the year when James Joyce published Ulysses, Louis Armstrong moved to Chicago and the dances were a hoot.
With that in mind, Warby Parker has designed a collection
that translates interwar glamour into a wearable future. The 1922 Collection
consists of three new frames, all featuring their signature custom acetate and
stainless steel. Each style also comes with a sunglasses version. I love the
vintage feel!
As well, following their philosophy of building a company to do good in the world, for every pair sold, they
are going to distribute a pair to someone in need through their non-profit
partners. Not only do they save us money, but they produce eyewear with
a purpose - now that's giving back in style!

--------
I'm a huge fan of the Porter and I'm hoping to check out these frames in person when I'm in NYC this summer! Their flagship store is located in Soho's historic Cast Iron District. Warby Parker aims to provide boutique-quality eyewear at a fraction of the price.
Find
the collection online at warbyparker.com, and at Warby Parker showrooms.
