'Be Your Own T' Launch Event at the Gap

Today on Bloor St., She Does The City paired up with the Gap and local Toronto bloggers to celebrate the classic Gap T - an essential wardrobe staple that comes in a huge variety of great styles and colours. The 'Be Your Own T' launch party was full of music, food, drinks, people, and promotions. They featured 25% off regular priced merchandise as well as an amazing summer beauty gift with any purchases over $75.

And it was great to see a collaboration with local bloggers - Gracie Carroll (@GracieCarroll), Lauren O'Neil (@laurenonizzle), Gloria Chik (@urbanebloc), Nelia Belkova (@styleblogca), and Hawley Dunbar (@SidewalkHustle & @HawleyDunbar). I didn't get a chance to talk to them, but I did check out their Gap T outfits that were featured as a Twitter contest for the event! They each put together an outfit featuring their favourite tee and people could tweet their faves to win a prize. I didn't win sadly...

Kept the party bumpin'
So pretty!
Anyway, the store was full of bright colours and it was a lot of fun - from delicious snacks and wine to a hair braiding station! I love braids, especially for summertime, so of course I had to get mine done...

AND there was also a chance to win a fabulous Bobbin Bicycle! Pretty much my dream bike...they are the cutest. And sadly, once again, I wasn't a winner. Oh well, I'll just have to pretend.

Overall it was a great event and I will definitely be picking up a couple of those bright T's soon! Check them out in stores or online: http://www.gapcanada.ca/

Tingle

Hey everyone!

Things have been pretty hectic, but don't worry, there are some exciting stuff yet to be posted! But recently, I've been working with Tingle, a Vancouver-based dating app for iPhones, as a social media coordinator - so I just thought I'd share some of my articles that have gone up now! I write a 'Bloggers We Love' series - featuring some pretty cool local Toronto bloggers who know the city inside and out.

Check them out here:

Also - if you're an iPhone user, you can sign up for Tingle and give it a try - Why not, it's free! http://www.tingle.com

Thanks!
