When you're invited to a Brooklyn rave hosted by Drew Barrymore, you don't say no.

Refinery29 celebrated the big 1-0 with A-List celebs, dedicated R29 staff and special guests in town for NYFW. They turned a warehouse in Brooklyn into an adult funhouse, complete with 29 different themed rooms, prime Instagram opps, dranks, a killer dance floor, plus a Shake Shack pop-up. Sounds like a dream, am I right?

It truly was magical.

This was my second Betsey Johnson fashion show and this one definitely upped the first. In celebration of 50 years, the SS16 show featured different fashion eras and it was so fab.

Another cool show I checked out during NYFW: Eckhaus Latta. It was particularly unique because of its choice of models and live sound elements (ft. a girl hitting a wall with a hammer). This line is the creation of Mike Ekhaus and Zoe Latta.

The highlight of my New York Fashion Week experience was definitely the Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2015 show at the Seventh Regiment Armory on Park Avenue. Not only did I get to see all the backstage chaos, but I also got to interview the legendary designer himself. I spoke with Tommy Hilfiger for NY1 News and it was pretty much amazing...

I was super excited to get to kick off my first New York Fashion Week experience with a show full of stunning gowns. I covered the Monique Lhuillier show with NY1 News and it was really cool to be a part of all the chaos that goes on before/during/after the show.

The show had an interesting set-up, with seating only on one side of the runway.

"Attend a Betsey Johnson fashion show at New York Fashion Week."

That happened. The feeling of getting to cross that off my life dream to-do list was one of the coolest feelings. I have always been a huge fan of Betsey Johnson. As a designer, as a style icon, and as an all-around human being. She stays true to herself and has done so for her entire career, which I admire so much. She loves to have fun and live life to the fullest. I still can't get over the fact that I got to witness her signature runway cartwheel IRL. She's 72 years old and still going strong.

FASHION | Concept Korea @ NYFW SS15

My first New York Fashion Week show was on Tuesday, September 9th. I've always wanted to see what the atmosphere is like and it was pretty cool. I attended the Concept Korea show, which showcases various up-and-coming Korean designers. I saw LEYII by Seunghee Lee, Resurrection by Juyoung Lee and Beyond Closet by Taeyong Ko.

Although I didn't get to attend New York Fashion Week this year, I still picked out some outfits as if I were going to.
