EVENTS | The Shops at Aura

I love living downtown because there's always something cool going on somewhere nearby. Last week, The Shops at Aura launched a pop-up shop market, bringing in local, up-and-coming businesses to the lower floor of the AURA building at Yonge & Gerrard. It was a fun party, with a DJ, entertaining buskers, sweet treats, and drinks. The shops ran from March 19-22.

Lobster Love @ Evergreen Brick Works

Hey everyone!

I got to try my hand as a food event blogger, covering the Lobster Love event on July 19, at Evergreen Brick Works and I had a great time. Despite the fact that most of the Twitter-verse was complaining about its long wait times and lack of quality lobster, I had a positive experience -- thanks to PR specialist Shauna Ireland!

It was my first time at this cool venue - Evergreen Brick Works - and the space was great for the event. There was complimentary Alexander Keith's, plus musical entertainment on top of the main feature - main course lobster.

Art + Jazz + Charity

On May 3, I was able to stop by the Vintage Conservatory (a private wine club in downtown Toronto) for a fun event featuring the artwork of Brad Firmino as well as the jazz stylings of  the Carlos Alabaci Quartet. All of the proceeds of the evening was going to a local community centre.
