UPCOMING | INLAND

Heads up Toronto! This weekend, head over to 99 Sudbury St. for a shopping event that supports Canadian designers - 80 of them! I love the concept of INLAND because there's so much cool stuff coming out of Canada, everyone needs to show them some love.

FASHION | Pop Up Mob

Last week, I was intrigued by a black-and-white 'POP UP MOB' sign in SoHo when I was running around during Techweek.

I ended up stumbling into a chic and edgy boutique, a pop-up shop featuring Australian brands from Fashion Bunker and jewellery from designer Jessie Dib. The shop is located at 85 Mercer and will run through until the end of October.

STORY | Style.tech

I have always loved the concept of NYC's STORY, located at 144 West 10th Ave. STORY is "a retail space that has the point of view of a magazine, changes like a gallery and sells things like a store."

Whenever I'm in the city, I always stop by for a visit. Previous stories:

The newest story is: style.tech — which I LOVE.

STORY | Made In America

I first stumbled upon STORY back in November 2012 and instantly fell in love (I even did a store spotlight blog post on it - check it out here). This retail space in Chelsea (144 10th Ave. at 19th Street, NY) constantly changes themes, or "stories" as they call them, where they feature and sell different products related to the story of the moment.

My first experience was during their Making Things story and this time around I walked into their most current story: Made In America. It takes you on a journey across the USA throughout the entire store, featuring carefully curated local designers and brands. From the west coast to the midwest and across to the east coast, I loved the whole set-up of the shop.

EVENT | FLARE Magazine x H&M Conscious Exclusive

For those of you fashion-loving people who are also enthusiastic about sustainable living, H&M has come out with a collection for you. They just launched their Conscious Exclusive collection, featuring pieces made from eco-friendly materials. The pieces range from casual to party wear. I'm in love with their dresses...here are my faves:

Last week, H&M teamed up with FLARE Magazine to host a VIP shopping party at the Bloor St. location and I got to check it out. Take a look inside the event:
