Reunion with Will.i.am!

Photo from newmusiclive.ca
Hey everyone!

On Tuesday July 24th, I made an appearance on MuchMusic's New.Music.Live to be a part of an interview with Will.i.am! He was there promoting his new album #willpower. I was super excited that I would get to meet him for the second time -- the first time was two years ago back in Vancouver for his clothing line launch at L2 (check out my blog post HERE).

So for NML, they were looking for someone to share a story from a past experience with Will.i.am, as well as ask him a question....Click the link to watch the video!

Here's one of my favourite songs from his new album: T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)

Photos from my spot on the NML couch!

After seeing so many people in the music industry branch out into fashion, it really showed me how you don't have to stick to one path and can really do anything if you have the passion and drive. So I told the story of my clothing line side project, all.dun.up (also Facebook page: facebook.com/alldunup), and Will.i.am gave great advice for someone hoping to have longevity in an industry, emphasizing a program called Kickstarter. It's a great way to gain support from the public and get your stuff out there, whether that may be in movies, music, or fashion; it's really for anyone to put their ideas and projects into motion!

I'm so happy that all.dun.up was able to get some exposure on national television! I honestly have been so busy with other things this summer that I haven't had a lot of time to work on all.dun.up, but after this experience, I really want to get back into it! Keep an eye out for more later on this summer hopefully! :)

Anyway, thanks for your support as always!

3SHAHS E-Commerce Launch

Last week, the 3SHAHS jewelry line had its official website launch at Nyood on Queen St. West. My lovely and talented friend Shah Emily Noaman is the designer herself and she put on a fab event. Her unique pieces have been worn by celebs including Fergie, Anjulie, Fefe Dobson, and Jeanne Beker. I love how her jewelry can bring any outfit to life with it's colours and details. Be sure to check out her website: www.3shahs.com

I was one of her official photographers for the night, so here are some pics that take you into the night's events!

Time for the show!

Great job everyone involved - and congrats again to Shah Emily Noaman!

Lobster Love @ Evergreen Brick Works

Hey everyone!

I got to try my hand as a food event blogger, covering the Lobster Love event on July 19, at Evergreen Brick Works and I had a great time. Despite the fact that most of the Twitter-verse was complaining about its long wait times and lack of quality lobster, I had a positive experience -- thanks to PR specialist Shauna Ireland!

It was my first time at this cool venue - Evergreen Brick Works - and the space was great for the event. There was complimentary Alexander Keith's, plus musical entertainment on top of the main feature - main course lobster.

Here are my photos from the event -- Enjoy!

The Grid was the event's media sponsor

HUGE portion of deliciousness :)
