EVENT | Faze Magazine's Glow Girl 2014

It's been a super busy time, so I know this post is a little late.....

Faze Magazine hosted its Glow Girl prom prep event last month and it was such a fun time. Lots of awesome performances, special guests, and fab makeup and hair stations. I was the videographer lead at the event, so stay tuned for the video to come! Degrassi's Luke Bilyk was our charming host and we had performances by:

Faze Magazine @ Student Life Expo

Making the big step (or leap) from high school to post-secondary can be stressful and frustrating at times. You want to snap at anyone who asks you "So what are you going to do with your life?" because really, you have no idea. But sometimes it's all about getting out there and trying new things and doing research into what is out there to help you out. Believe me, there are tons of resources out there but it's up to you to find them.

Luckily for you, there are great events that make it a little bit easier. Earlier this month, the Student Life Expo was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, bringing together lots of speakers, schools, and helpful tools to give you the information you need when making those important decisions.

I was at the expo with Faze Magazine, since we had a booth and were the hosts of the main stage. It was a lot of fun - we had free beauty stations all day and even brought some celebrity guests, including some of the cast members of Degrassi.

MuchMusic Presents: The Big Jingle

On Sunday, Dec. 2 the ACC was filled with fans eager to see some of their fave artists all under one roof. The Big Jingle, presented by MuchMusic, featured a line-up of some pretty big names in pop music right now - Austin Mahone, Cody Simpson, The Wanted and Carly Rae Jepsen, just to name a few. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stick around for the entire show, but here are some of the photos from the sets that I was able to catch:

ANTM Live Toronto Pt.6 - All-Star Meet & Greet

Following the fantastic runway shows on the Schwarzkopf Professional Main Stage, the ANTM All-Stars came out to the pink carpet in the VIP lounge to meet their fans and take photos and sign autographs. There were tons of people waiting to see Isis King, Shannon Stewart, Laura Kirkpatrick, Bianca Golden, Camille McDonald, Alexandria Everett, and Lisa D'Amato up close and personal. They all looked like they were having so much fun and loved bringing out their awesome personalities.

ANTM Live Toronto Pt.2 - Schwarzkopf Professional Main Stage Fashion Show

All weekend at the ANTM Live Toronto event, there were fabulous runway shows on the Schwarzkopf Professional Main Stage featuring models from the All-Star season of ANTM, contestants from the Sutherland Model Search, amazing dancers and gorgeous clothing! The shows were hosted by Degrassi's Alicia Josipovic and Luke Bilyk.

The show's opening looks were by UK designer/wardrobe&hair stylist Joey Bevan (stay tuned for a special post on him including a Q&A and additional runway photos!):

 They all looked amazing - loved all the fairytale-esque hair!

T.D.O.T. - The Dancers of Toronto performed throughout the show

SYTYCD Canada winner Jordan Clark was among the dancers performing (that's her up there!)

And the fantastic Trish was one of the musical performers for the weekend and she killed it on stage as always!

They were great hosts!
