EVENT | Logo TV Trailblazer Honors & Pride Parade NYC

June is Pride Month and this year's celebration came with a historic milestone. After what feels like MUCH too long, marriage equality has reached the United States. This comes as a major achievement for the LGBTQ community and I couldn't be more excited for everyone!

I seriously teared up while watching this:


I had the pleasure of attending Logo TV's Trailblazer Honors event in NYC as a seatfiller and I had an incredible experience. The event celebrated many inspirational voices doing amazing and aspirational things in the LGBTQ community. It was held at the The Cathedral Church Of St. John the Divine and it was such a stunning venue:



Presenters included Raven Symone, Samira Wiley (OITNB), Tyler Posey, Frankie Grande, Tituss Burgess, Kelly Osbourne and Martin Luther King III, just to name a few—plus performances by Bleachers and Adam Lambert.

I think one of the mot touching parts of the evening was the awards presentation for a few of the most supportive parents who have made a huge change in the lives of their children and communities.

The day after this event was televised was the Pride Parade in NYC and I had to check it out:


 It was PACKED. And sweaty.

    The food was always great, I think they just updated their menu and it's off the hook. Who would expect delicious pizza at such big events. Not me, but you can get some of the best pizza at this venue space nyc. The best place in this area.
