Interview with: Rude Ass Gentlemen

I know, I know, it must seem like I have a never-ending stream of articles/blog posts from NXNE, but this is the last one, I swear! I just had tons of stuff that I was working on, so it took a bit longer, but I have finally finished it all :)

Anyways, one of the coolest interviews I did during NXNE was with three guys from Virginia who call themselves Rude Ass Gentlemen. They performed at the Crawford during NXNE and I even got to be their tour guide for their first time here in Toronto.

Check out this video from my interview with them!

Their music is dope...so check them out! cellokid.bandcamp.com

NXNE 2012 Video

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's a little late, but I've had some technical difficulties that prevented me from getting my NXNE coverage up sooner...Anyways, just thought I'd share a sneak peak compilation video from my experience/interviews -- Stay tuned for the full videos/blog posts hopefully coming very soon!

NXNE 2012

Hey everyone!

This week sure has been hectic, with tons of events throughout the city. To start off, the annual North by Northeast Festival and Conference (NXNE) kicked off on June 11 and went until the 17th - and during that time, I got to do a bunch of interviews, attend some great shows, and met a lot of awesome people. This is just a general NXNE blog post, but there's much more to come, including: interviews with A Friend in London, Jane's Party, the Rude Ass Gentlemen, and Masia One just to name a few, plus show photos from Gus & Scout, Sidney York, and Kovak. I even took a dancehall class...yeah, that happened. So stay tuned for my coverage, which will pop up slowly but surely (time to get caught up!)

Media Pass - love seeing 3F spreading the love!
NX Lounge Stage in The Hyatt

Dundas Square was constantly full of energy!
